DFC Brings Ibizan Vibe to Ashfield House

“Oh I’d definitely have this, wouldn’t you? It’s like being in Marbella or Ibiza!” said our Steph in the glorious evening sunshine at the Ashfield House open evening.

You see we’d decided to use the weather to our advantage and create something really special out on the sun-soaked terrace, to give the brides and grooms visiting Ashfield something to remember. Our decks were set up as the sun was starting to go down and the gin bar was well and truly open. The relaxed and laid back atmosphere was perfectly complemented by the sounds of Al, one of the immensely talented saxophonists we provide through Artists by DFC. The soundtrack of summer sounds had everyone smiling, tapping their feet and taking a moment to enjoy the outdoor space at Ashfield House.

Suppliers including Ashton Photography and The Rose Boutique were on hand to give brides and grooms a taster of what to expect at Ashfield House, and how each wedding can be made truly unique and personal. Katie and her team did an amazing job of once again transforming the venue to look completely different to how we’ve viewed it before. Ashfield House work with some really creative suppliers who love to put their stamp on the place with new, exciting and fresh ideas. Every time we walk in, every wedding, it always looks different with every couple able to bring aspects of their own personality to their special day.

The catwalk show at Ashfield House was simply stunning. For us, the Ashfield House open evening was a chance to showcase what DFC can do, and how DJ and live music combined on the terrace can evoke a seriously stylish atmosphere that your guests will talk about for years to come. If you’ve ever been on holiday and sat there as the sun sets, with cocktail in hand and a brilliant funky house beat in the background, you’ll know those moments are special. Those moments where you kick back, feel the rays of warmth on your face and you truly unwind. Imagine recreating that perfect summer vibe at your own wedding. A perfect middle-of-the-day interlude, or an early evening summer soiree as your evening guests arrive.

Either way, it’s easy to create with DFC and Ashfield House. The icing on the cake? Ashfield’s new outdoor pizza oven! Oh yes, it’s true, fresh pizzas provided the final impressive touch, as if we weren’t impressed already! The next Ashfield House open evening with be September 8th, from 5-9pm. We’re hoping for an extended summer and round 2 creating our DFC party on the terrace. We will make sure the pizza oven is fired up!
