A couple pouring champagne

A taste of something special

We asked the Little White Books GNWA2020 (best individual business) award winner, The Little Green Platter Company to give us their best wedding tip - Well they got greedy and gave us 2. We think they are belters & hope you do too. Thank you Karen & the team.

The first tip they gave us is definitely up our street. When looking at your budget and funds are running low, certain things that you were looking to have for your special day start taking a back seat, or you might look for a cheaper alternative. When trying to prioritise you funds, bear this fantastic tip in mind.

'Use your budget wisely! Two of the most important things you should spend your money on are a fantastic wedding photographer/videographer & DJ... Go cheap on those things and you will be disappointed.'

When thinking about a little something to keep your guests going until your wedding breakfast, we all immediately turn to the good old, ttrusty canapés. Did you know there are other options out there...

'My top tip for a fabulous wedding is to have a graze table for your guests to nibble on whilst you have your wedding pics taken! Grazing is a show stopping alternative to the usual canapés.'

Haven't checked them out yet? Head on over to their social accounts and give them a cheeky follow, if you are loving their work as much as we are!

Shout out to Jules Fortune Photo, Wellbeing Farm and Great Northern Wedding Venues for their styled shoot that we have included in this blog.
